The Origins of the Club
Welcome to BX 16valve.com the online resource for owners and fans of the Citroen BX 16valve.
In 1999 a group of BX 16valve enthusiasts many of whom had only ‘met’ each other through the internet decided to get together for an informal chat.
A central location was established and on Sunday 12th September 1999 10 Citroën BX 16valves congregated at the South Mimms Services in Hertfordshire, England.
It was decided that, every few months the group would meet at a different location within the UK either for a drive and a chat or to attend an event.
Since then the Club has grown enormously and now includes registered members from every corner of the globe. Thanks to the Club more events are being attended and more BX 16valves are being saved from the scrap-yard whilst information and knowledge is shared via the busy online Club Forum.
If you are interested in becoming a member, please go to the Owners Club section of this site and use the online forum to register and join the community.
We hope you enjoy your visit to the site and look forward to seeing you at one of our events.
Regards
Luke (Toddman)
